Horizontal and vertical control is normally established by using at least 2 Trimble GPS Receivers (base and rover) collecting navigation data simultaneously, linked by a communication system and calibrated (referenced) from governmental established benchmarks (reference monuments) or from client supplied benchmarks, running more than the required epochs for the required accuracy.
