Sands Surveying Corporation was started in 2002. We have a skilled management team and production crew with over 86 years of combined surveying experience. Our company uses Trimble GNSS Receivers (with WDS Virtual Network), Trimble Robotic Stations, and Trimble Digital Levels to produce high accuracy through reducing human interaction. We utilize the latest state of the art technology and have extensive quality control program to ensure clients the best possible service in an expedient manner.

Our History

2002

In early 2002 Sheryl and Scott Cole formed S and S Surveying Company. Shortly thereafter the company was incorporated as Sands Surveying Corporation. By 2005 we employed six administrative and five (3 man crews) and have relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth Mid-Cities area. The bulk of the business was concentrated on the residential building market. Our mission statement

2008

By the end of 2007 we had expanded our business and are providing our services to several major home builders in a five county region of North Texas. We are providing Surveying services in over one hundred subdivisions throughout the North Texas region.
2010

Sands Surveying Corporation plans to create a "Recession Proof" business starts with the use of an already successful marketing plan that was implemented in the last quarter of 2009. In our most profitable years of service (2006, 2007 & 2008) we relied on our strong relations and good reputation we established over the earlier years in business our marketing strategy was practically non-existent. Today we have developed a working marketing strategy that combined with an expanded service plan will bring us back to and beyond the comforts of era recently demolished by the recent recession.
