What is a Right-of-Way Survey? |
|
A Right-of-Way Survey defines the boundaries of a designated corridor of land used for public or private roads, utilities, pipelines, or other infrastructure. These surveys document existing ROW lines, locate encroachments, prepare easement exhibits, and support the acquisition or dedication of new right-of-way. ROW surveys are required by TxDOT, counties, municipalities, and utility providers for road construction and widening projects, utility line installation, and pipeline corridors throughout Texas. |
